Yankees May Wait Until Last Minute To Pick Up Swisher's Option

The Yankees are expected to exercise the $10.25 million option on the contract of right fielder Nick Swisher for the 2012 season despite another playoff flameout.
However, New York isn't expected to pick up the option until the very last minute, which is three days after the end of the World Series.
Swisher struggled in the postseason once again, hitting .211 with one home run and one RBI in the ALDS against Detroit.
