Phillies right-hander Roy Oswalt hasn't decided whether or not he'll pitch next season, but his agent says that he isn't contemplating retirement. Feeling healthy and enjoying his tenure with Philadelphia, agent Bob Garber claims that retirement is far from his client's mind. "There's been a rebirth," Garber said. "There's been talk in the past about retiring, but that's not even in the cards at this point. It's a different Roy. It's a different feeling for him right now. He's enjoying the game right now like he used to when he was younger. He's definitely not retiring." Oswalt is in the final year of his contract, although there is a $16 million mutual option for 2012. It seems unlikely the Phillies pick up the option because they will be trying to re-sign Jimmy Rollins and Ryan Madson and sign Cole Hamels to an extension.
