1. Chicago White Sox: Maybe this time around, it?s everyone one else who?s fixing the games.
2. St. Louis Cardinals: Turns out Joe Torre is still a Card at heart.
3. Minnesota Twins: 36-25 isn?t good enough with a hot White Sox in the division.
4. Washington Nationals: A new location, Frank Robinson, and the willingness to spend some money really turned this franchise around.
5. Baltimore Orioles: With a Red Sox without Pedro, and baseball without a Yankees, the Orioles really didn?t have any trouble reaching the top.

7. San Diego Padres: Still strong but cooling off.
8. Philadelphia Phillies: Pronounced dead too early, we?re looking at Rocky 6.
9. Texas Rangers: Seven players with double-digit home runs.
10. Chicago Cubs: At least the Mets of the Midwest are winning.
11. Boston Red Sox: They don?t want Pedro back, just his magical jerry curl.
12. LA Dodgers: Waiting out Padres.
13. Arizona Diamondbacks: And this is the year they don?t have Randy Johnson.
14. Atlanta Braves: By the end of this season, Bobby Cox will have his way.
15. Florida Marlins: Cold front reaching Florida.
16. NY Mets: To a Mets fan being better than the Yankees is already a victory.
17. Cleveland Indians: I was about to chant wild thing then I remembered it was just a movie.
18. Toronto Blue Jays: For most teams inching towards .500 is a step up, for the Jays it doesn?t seem to be the case.
19. Pittsburg Pirates:
20. NY Yankees: A-Rod hits 400, team still loses.
21. Detroit Tigers: This, a surprise to very few.
22. Milwaukee Brewers: At least they have a nice stadium?
23. Seattle Mariners: Where?s grunge when things are really down.
24. Houston Astros: Clemens/Astros, Jordan/Wizards.
25. Cincinnati Reds: Ken Griffey Jr. ten years ago would really make a difference.
26. San Francisco Giants: Bonds is out and the Giants are as well.
27. Oakland A?s: Bring back the donkey.
28. Colorado Rockies: At least they?re not the Royals.
29. Kansas City Royals: At least they?re not the Devil Rays.
