The OPSERA is a statistic RealGM Executive Editor Chris Reina created in order to objectively rank teams by how well they hit (OPS) and pitch (ERA).

In order to determine the OPSERA rating for each, we take their OPS, multiply that number by 10 to move the decimal point over one place to the right and then subtract their ERA from that number.

All Statistics are through Monday, June 8th. Last week's rankings are in parenthesis.

1. (2) St. Louis – 4.60
The Cardinals have retaken the top spot thanks to supreme pitching. Michael Wacha, who turns 24 in a few weeks, is having the best season of his career -- 2.18 ERA, 47 Ks and 17 BBs in 70.1 innings.

2. (1) Los Angeles Dodgers – 4.38
St. Louis has had their number on the field and now in these rankings.
