3. Derek Lee: Leads MLB with an average of .353 and the NL in hits with 165. Do you like his Triple Crown chances?
4. Vladimir Guerrero: The reigning AL MVP is hitting .315 for the first place Angels.
5. Chris Carpenter: Won his 18th game this week, and is second only to Jake Peavy (SD) in NL K's with 178.
6. Mariano Rivera: His 33 saves have kept the Yankees within reach of the Red Sox. Will their starting pitching provide him with enough save opportunities in September to make a difference?

21. Marcus Giles: One of the table setters (with Furcal) for the first place Braves. His average is up to .304.
