1. Albert Pujols: Leads the National League in RBI's and runs scored, with a .337 avg. for MLB's most consistent team, St. Louis.
2. Alex Rodriguez: 36 Home Runs, 97 RBI's, .314 at the plate, and stellar play at the NYY hot corner.
3. Derek Lee: Triple Crown numbers are still a possibility for this Cub. Leads MLB with an average of .346.
4. Vladimir Gurerrero: The reigning AL MVP has posted impressive numbers in August, and is the major reason the Angels lead the West.
5. Mariano Rivera: 32 saves to date has kept the Yankees within reach of the Red Sox and the Wild Card.
6. Cris Carpenter: His 17-4 record, and 2.25 ERA continues to impress Cardinal fans. Trails only Peavy and Pedro in NL strikeouts with 169.
7. Miguel Cabrera: Is hitting .342 and is helping keep the Marlins in the Wild Card race.
8. Andruw Jones: The CF continues to lead the first place Braves, with a MLB leading 38 home runs.
9: Manny Ramirez: 108 RBI's for Manny as the Red Sox continue to lead the East. This weekend in Los Angeles should prove interesting.
10. Jon Garland: 16-6, 3.47 for the first place White Sox.
11. David Ortiz: Ortiz and Ramirez have combined for 225 RBI's and 63 home runs for Boston.
12. Miguel Tejada: Despite grounding into 20 DP's this season, Tejada is still the Orioles most consistent player.
13. Chad Cordero: Leads MLB with 38 saves for Washington.
14. Roger Clemens: 11-4 and 1.32 speaks volumes. How does he do it in Houston?
15. Johnny Damon: Leads the American League with an average of .332 and has scored 92 Red Sox runs to date.
16. Michael Young: Leads MLB and the Rangers with 162 hits.
17. Gary Sheffield: Still one of the most feared hitters in the Yankees lineup.
18. Dontrelle Willis: Has allowed only two earned runs over his past five starts, and ERA of 0.49. He will be counted on to lead the Marlins in the September stretch drive.
19. Derek Jeter: The Yankee Captain continues to hit (.304) and score runs (92).
20. Brady Clark: Consistent numbers despite not being a household name. Is hitting .311 for the Brewers.
21. Ichiro Suzuki: Keeps on hitting, hitting, and hitting (.308 for the Mariners).
22. Johan Santana: The quality Twins lefty, who leads MLB with 182 K's.
23. Brian Roberts: Hitting .319 for the sinking Orioles.
24. Bobby Abreu: He's getting his All-Star stroke back. He will need to hit the long ball for the Phillies to win the Wild Card.
25. Jeff Francoeur: The Atlanta rookie is hitting .374, with 10 home runs, and continues to throw runners out.

26. Ken Griffey, Jr: MLB's Comeback Player of the Year. A healthy and enthusiastic Junior has 29 home runs and looks like he can help a pennant contender down the stretch. Will some GM please make a deal?!
