Rangers left-hander C.J. Wilson is aware that his Game 5 start against the Cardinals could be his final appearance with Texas. Wilson will be a free agent this winter, but his focus is on stopping the Cardinals. "I'm thinking about the team and where we're at and being in the World Series," Wilson said. "Obviously, there are no extra series after this. There's no galaxy series or universe series or whatever. Just trying to win tonight and win tomorrow and see what we can do back in St. Louis." Wilson is 0-3 this year in the playoffs with a 7.17 ERA. He was the Game 1 starter against the Cardinals and took the loss, allowing three runs in 5-2/3 innings in a 3-2 decision. Wilson knows he hasn't pitched up to his standards in the playoffs. "I'm somewhat of an optimist, but at the same time being a realist obviously it hasn't gone as well as I would have liked," he said. "I would have liked to have won every game and thrown a shutout every time because it would have made it easier on everyone else. Obviously, if I threw a shutout the first game we'd be winning right now."
