The A's thought they had a deal made to trade outfielder Milton Bradley, who had been designated for assignment one day before, to the Kansas City Royals for right-handed pitcher Leo Nunez. MLB.com reported late Friday that the deal was voided. According to a Royals' spokesman, the A's learned that Bradley had sustained an oblique injury in his last game for them and the trade was called off, the Web site reported. "We tried to make the deal, but before the final phase was completed, there was a complication with the medical part and we had to pull out of it,'' Royals general manager Dayton Moore was quoted by the Web site as saying.
