The Detroit Tigers have parted ways with assistant general manager David Chadd.
The two sides discussed Chadd returning to the franchise in a different capacity, but nothing came to fruition.
Chadd, who had two years left on his deal, had previously served as scouting director, and as assistant GM was former GM Al Avila's second in command prior to Avila's firing in August.
