Major League Baseball and the MLB Players Association are scheduled to meet on Saturday to discuss the ongoing lockout.
On Thursday, Rob Manfred offered a few updates on labor talks between the two sides with the scheduled start of Spring Training looming.
Manfred said that MLB will implement a draft lottery to combat tanking, offer a higher minimum salary for Major League players, add the universal designated hitter, eliminate draft pick compensation and possibly expand of the postseason.
