The New York Yankees have officially hired Luis Rojas as their third-base coach.
Rojas was let go as manager of the New York Mets last month.
Rojas will take the spot of Phil Nevin, who had been the Yankees' third-base coach since the 2018 season.
The Yankees tied with the Kansas City Royals for making the most outs at the plate this season with 22.
