The Houston Astros have at least entertained the idea of trading Carlos Correa to reduce their payroll going forward, according to a report.
Correa, 25, has two years left on his contract before he'll become a free agent. He's projected to make $7.4 million next season in arbitration.
Houston's payroll is set to exceed the $208 million luxury tax threshold next year.
