The Pittsburgh Pirates are planning to fire Neal Huntington, according to a report.
They are expected to make an official announcement by Monday afternoon.
Huntington has held the position since Sept. 25, 2007. When owner Bob Nutting fired Clint Hurdle as manager earlier this offseason, he expressed confidence in Huntington's leadership.
Travis Williams begin his new role as president of the club on Monday.
