Luis Severino is itching to get back on a Major League mound and says he's open to pitching out of the bullpen for the New York Yankees.

"I just want to pitch," Severino said. "It doesn't matter where or when, in the bullpen or as a starter, I just want to pitch."

Just three weeks ago Severino was shut down for a second time this season after an MRI revealed the injury in the back of his throwing arm wasn't quite 100 percent healed.

"I'm real confident," he said. "Even the last time when they sent me back, I didn't feel nothing. Maybe they were afraid of something bigger happening. I just know that I feel good."
