The Los Angeles Dodgers say Cody Bellinger will be an outfielder going forward after suffering a slight dislocation of his right shoulder diving for a ball while playing first base on Friday night.

Bellinger, who throws left-handed, remained in that game and doubled. The shoulder also briefly popped out of socket last year.

"It's happened a couple of times, but Cody said he feels good," Dave Roberts said. "I do think, going forward, him being an outfielder makes the most sense. Being at first base, a potential dive, we'll see how that goes as time goes by."
