Joe Maddon has two years left on his contract with the Chicago Cubs, but hopes to remain with the club for the foreseeable future.

Maddon is set to begin his 13th season as a Major League manager. In three seasons with the Cubs, they've averaged 97 victories and have won six of eight playoff series. He's hoping to win at least one more World Series and manage for at least five more years.

"That's what I'm thinking right now," he said. "If it's up to me."

Maddon became baseball's oldest manager when the Washington Nationals fired Dusty Baker this offseason.

"It's about remaining contemporary," he said. "You could be 45 and be like the oldest dude on the block."
