Looking to help Kyle Schwarber get on track, the Chicago Cubs are moving the slugger down in the batting order.

Joe Maddon is also looking to revive the 2-3-4 combination of Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo and Ben Zobrist. Zobrist had replaced Schwarber in the leadoff spot on May 20.

On Friday, the Cubs hit Ian Happ first and dropped Schwarber to seventh for just the third time in his career.

"'Zo' has done a great job leading off," Maddon said. "But I also believe he definitely has to be behind Rizzo for us to be successful offensively. Who's going to hit leadoff? It could've been Happ or Jason Heyward. I think Jason has settled in nicely. I didn't want to mess with that. 'Schwarbs' is getting better."

Schwarber hit .190 in the No. 1 hole.
