The Detroit Tigers have agreed to a one-year deal with Jose Iglesias.
Iglesias will earn $1.65 million in 2014. He is not yet eligible for arbitration, but his salary needed to be determined following completion of his original four-year, $8.25 million contract signed with the Boston Red Sox.
The 23-year-old finished second in the Rookie of the Year voting after batting a combined .303/.349/.386 between the Red Sox and Tigers in 2013.
