The Cincinnati Reds could explore trading Brandon Phillips this winter, according to radio announcer Marty Brennaman.
The Reds fired Dusty Baker this week and Phillips would be their best chance to free up payroll and bring back some quality prospects, Brennaman notes.
Phillips has four years and $50 million left on his current contract.
