Indians Covet Four Prospects In Return For Cabrera

The Indians are asking for a lot in return for Asdrubal Cabrera.

Cleveland is shopping Cabrera at the winter meetings as they look for three to four prospects as part of any deal for the two-time All-Star.

They had the framework of a deal in place in which they would have received one big-league pitcher and two high-level prospects. When the Indians asked for a third prospect, the deal dissolved.

"He's the best guy out there at that position," said one scout of the shortstop. "They're going to get something good for him, but they're asking for a lot."
