Mike Scioscia has been a fixture with the Angels since the 2000 season, but isn't assured of returning for the 2013 season.
Arte Moreno is upset with the Angels' performance after he shelled out $315 million on one day for Albert Pujols and C.J. Wilson. In addition, Scioscia and general manager Jerry Dipoto don't appear to be getting along, according to people familiar with the situation.
Scioscia didn't want longtime hitting coach Mickey Hatcher fired earlier this season and there has been quite a bit of tension around the Angels this season.
