The Mets have won just 13 of their 42 games since the All-Star break, but manager Terry Collins is not in danger in being replaced.

The New York Post first reported that Collins, who is under contract for 2013 as well, will remain employed. The team was 46-40 at the break and in contention for a playoff berth.

Management wants to see the team finish third in the National League East. Entering Monday's action, the Mets were fourth in the division (two games back of the Phillies).

"It doesn't seem like a big thing, but there should be some pride there," the source said.
