Padilla: Teixeira Would Be Better Off In A 'Women's Sport'

It took him a few days, but Vicente Padilla has responded to Mark Teixeira's comment that the reliever throws at the heads of players.
The Red Sox reliever, who was a teammate of Teixeira's in Texas, accused the Yankees first baseman of prejudice against Latin players and also told the him to go play a "women's sport."
Teixeira laughed off the comments, calling them "completely erroneous."
"That's just comedy," he said. "It's funny. It really is."
In his initial two at-bats against Padilla in 2005, Teixeira hit homers each time. Since, according to Teixeira, Padilla has been head-hunting.
