New Ownership Increases Chances Of Ethier Deal

Nothing is imminent, but with new ownership officially in place the chances of Andre Ethier signing a long-term deal with the Dodgers have increased.
Ethier appeared to have a problem with former owner Frank McCourt, but he is now open to discussing a deal in-season ahead of his impending free agency.
The belief is that L.A.'s new owners want to get established before they hand out a huge contract extension.
A source suggested that Ethier could receive a contract in the neighborhood of six-years and $90 million.
