Russell Martin and the Yankees spoke on Friday and have decided to table contract talks until after the season. Brian Cashman said the two sides "mutually agreed to wait," after agent Matt Colleran called him. "It was a good conversation," Colleran said. "By the end of it, we were on the same page." Martin, who signed a one-year, $7.5 million deal to avoid arbitration, can become a free agent at the end of the season.
