The Yankees are desperately seeking an addition to their starting rotation and they may ultimately have to choose either Matt Garza or Edwin Jackson. New York likes both pitchers, but so far they don't like the haul it would take to acquire Garza from the Cubs and they aren't thrilled with Jackson's price tag either. With that said, free-agent Hiroki Kuroda isn't believed to want to pitch in New York and the Yankees haven't been in trade talks for Jair Jurrjens, Gavin Floyd or Wandy Rodriguez.
