The winter meetings are over, but shortstop Jimmy Rollins remains available on the free-agent market. The Phillies remain hopeful that they'll be able to re-sign Rollins as soon as this week. "We're still working on it," Philadelphia general manager Ruben Amaro Jr. said. "We're hoping to have a resolution soon." Amaro continues to negotiate with Dan Lozano, the agent for Rollins. "We talked over the weekend," he said. "We hope to talk again today." Rollins, 33, began negotiations by saying he wanted a five-year deal. The Phillies have long preferred a deal in the three-year range.
