Yankees general manager Brian Cashman is expected to stay put. Cashman has yet to speak with New York's ownership group about his contract, which expires on Oct. 31. "Nothing has taken place whatsoever," he said. Cashman, who has spent his entire adult life with the organization, has been the team's general manager since 1998. "Nothing has changed," he said. "It's the same as August, the same as September, the same as May."
