Cubs manager Mike Quade says his relationship with Ryan Dempster is fine despite a disagreement on Saturday. Dempster was unhappy about being pulled after pitching five innings and he let Quade know it in the dugout. Quade reiterated he likes Dempster and has had disagreements with him in the past, including after Dempster's first start under Quade last August in Washington. "I kind of chuckled, because it brought me back to the day in Washington," Quade said. "Not because he was upset, but I like this guy. You make decisions and do what you have to do, right or wrong, and sometimes disagreements happen. "Sometimes it hurts. Sometimes it's not fun, and sometimes it doesn't work. I respect everybody, but ultimately you have to do what's right for the 24 (other players on the team), and not necessarily the (other guy)."
