Phillies Denied Run After Brown's Hit Bumps Ump

The Phillies were denied a run against the Pirates on Sunday when Domonic Brown's single hit second-base umpire Chad Fairchild.
Philadelphia's struggling offense appeared to be primed for a breakout in the fourth inning, but the bad luck stifled their surge.
Brown's hit was ruled a dead ball, preventing a run from scoring and instead loading the bases.
Wilson Valdez then grounded into an inning-ending double play.
