It's only March, but the Yankees had to be thrilled to see A.J. Burnett on the mound Monday. Burnett threw three perfect innings in a spring game against the Phillies in Tampa. "He had ace stuff today," said catcher Russell Martin. "His fastball was just effortless. He looks like he has even more if he wants it. It looked like he had fun out there." Burnett retired all nine batters he faced, throwing 30 of his 45 pitches for strikes.
