Todd Helton is signed through the 2013 season and the long-time Colorado first baseman intends to play out his contract. "In an (upset) moment at the height of frustration last season, sure, I considered leaving. But I was never serious. I plan on leaving this game on a good note and finishing out my contract," Helton said. "I will go hunting and just be a dad at some point. But I can do that when I am 50. I only have a limited time where my body will allow me to play a game at the highest level. Where else can I do that? It's not like I am going to be bowling at the highest level." A career .324 hitter, Helton batted .256 with just eight home runs and 37 RBIs in 2010.
