The Twins plan to extend the contract of long-time manager Ron Gardenhire despite the team's second-straight three-game sweep at the hands of the Yankees. Gardenhire is currently under contract through the 2011 season. Twins CEO Jim Pohlad said before Game 3 of the ALDS on Friday night that it's "a no-brainer" that the manager will receive a contact extension.
