Tim Lincecum's velocity has dropped since his big league debut three years ago and the team is keeping an eye on it. "Everybody thinks 99 because that was his first pitch in the big leagues," pitching coach Dave Righetti said. In his second season Lincecum was consistently at around 93 mph, but in 2009 he hovered around 91 or 92 mph most times. "We're not stupid," Righetti said. "I'm definitely going to keep an eye on it." Regardless of the drop in speed, Lincecum has taken home the last two National League Cy Young awards.
