The Twins have designated pitcher Boof Bonser for assignment to make room on their roster for Carl Pavano. Pavano accepted Minnesota's offer of salary arbitration Monday night, keeping him with the club for the 2010 season. Bonser had surgery on his pitching shoulder in spring training and missed last season.
