Joba Chamberlain will take his normal turn in the rotation on Sunday against the Mariners. The Yankees had announced that Chamberlain wouldn't start until Wednesday against the Athletics in an attempt to give the young pitcher some additional rest. However, manager Joe Girardi is worried about the club's taxed bullpen. Chamberlain is expected to get additional rest following Sunday's appearance. "It is what it is. I understand the history and everything that's happened," Joba said, referring to young phenoms such whose careers have been derailed by injuries. "You've just got to be patient and try to learn. "You want to continue to stay on your routine. It's like anybody who gets out of their own routine, it kind of throws them off a little bit. You just understand and be patient, and learn to adjust and make the most of it."
