Rangers second baseman Ian Kinsler doesn't believe he should be left out of the MVP conversation in the American League this season. "I think he was the MVP of the league if he doesn't get hurt," manager Ron Washington said. "He runs away with runs scored, he probably hits 20-something bombs, he probably drives in 80-something runs, he probably hits .320-something, probably gets 50 doubles." Kinsler suffered a sports hernia on Aug. 17, and fellow second baseman Dustin Pedroia went on to win the MVP award. "I feel like I'm capable of that," Kinsler said. "Someone has to win it. Why not me?"
