The Yankees originally acquired Nick Swisher to play first base, but the signing of Mark Teixeira changed that. Now, Swisher appears to be behind Xavier Nady on the depth chart in right field and has essentially become a bench player. "It's tough, I want to be out there every day," said Swisher. "I love this team and we will see how it plays out. We talked and he told me he was going to make it work. We have a great team with an opportunity to do great things. We want to win but I also want to be a part. There are a lot of at-bats out there for me." Swisher, who has four years and $22.5 million left on his contract, could end up being shipped out of town.
