Al Leiter said in a radio interview on New York's WFAN this week that the Mets need to sign free agent outfielder Manny Ramirez. Bill Price of the Daily News recalled what Leiter said in a recent column, "He said any Met pitcher would love to have a guy like that in the lineup, and added that while Ramirez could be a headache for Jerry Manuel or the Mets PR people, the players would love to have him."
