It is becoming more and more likely that the Angels will lose Mark Teixeira to an East Coast club, so the team is reportedly taking a look at Manny Ramirez. "He'd be a fit on our club," Manager Mike Scioscia said of Ramirez. Many people in the Los Angeles area have speculated that Scioscia wouldn't be able to get along with Ramirez. "I don't know know how some of these things get started," Scioscia said. "Our staff has been together for 10 years here. Really, we've had maybe one well-documented thing with Jose Guillen, and that's it. I don't think we demand anything from our players that any other organization, any other manager, doesn't demand from their players." Teixeira has received serious interest from the Red Sox, Yankees, Orioles, and Nationals.
