With the price for hitters like Matt Holliday and Jason Bay too high for his liking, Mets' General Manager Omar Minaya could look elsewhere for offensive help, according to Newsday. Raul Ibanez and Casey Blake are likely targets. New York has been playing well as of late, but Minaya has made it known that he still wants to improve the roster. "When you win, it pretty much cures all illnesses," closer Billy Wagner said. "That's how it is right now. Everything now is as good as it could be considering a month ago we were wondering if we would win 40 games. Now we've won 51 and we're a half-game out, so it doesn't get much better than this."
