Tigers manager Jim Leyland said on Saturday that relievers Joel Zumaya and Fernando Rodney will re-join the team earlier than expected, according to The Detroit News. "I'm starting to remember what they look like," Leyland said. "Knock on wood, but if they don't have setbacks, we'll definitely have them back before the end of June." The Tigers are in dire need of help in the bullpen. "Dave (general manager Dave Dombrowski) saw them both in Lakeland," Leyland said. "Rodney's velocity wasn't real good. He hit 93 (mph) but had a great change-up. Zumaya was 93-97, mostly 93-95. "We're keeping our fingers crossed that they're going to be OK. But, if they are, we'll be adding a couple of pretty good names. "Not being disrespectful to the people who are here, because that's not fair, but when Zumaya and Rodney walk into a clubhouse, that's instant credibility."
