Cliff Floyd's achilles limited him to just three at-bats in the NLCS and due to the Shawn Green trade, coupled with the emergence of Endy Chavez, it is highly unlikely that he returns to Flushing next season. "Not being able to help the boys plays a huge role in the disappointment," Floyd said. "The one thing this team learned about itself, hopefully, is that through any adversity, we can beat it. We lost one of the best pitchers in the game and still got to this point." As for himself, Floyd added: "Hopefully I'm a New York Met."
