The Tampa Bay Rays may be without Wil Myers for anywhere from two to six weeks.

Myers had his sprained wrist examined on Monday in hopes of pinning down a recovery timetable. An MRI showed bruising and swelling, but doctors are still checking for the possibility of a small fracture.

"It could be not so bad, it could be worse," Joe Maddon said. "We just have to wait for the doctor to tell us."

Maddon says surgery has not been mentioned at all.
