Red Sox outfielder Shane Victorino will miss at least one game with a back issue.

Victorino will sit out the first game of Boston's double-header against the Kansas City Royals on Sunday.

"He feels improved from yesterday and last night," manager John Farrell said. "Yet there's still some tightness in the lower back. He's day to day, so we'll hold him to sit out and he'll continue to get treatment."

Victorino left Saturday's game with back tightness.

The 32-year-old is hitting .311/.377/.328 with seven RBI and three stolen bases this season.
