The expectation is that Alfonso Soriano's time in Chicago is winding down.

Soriano has two years and $36 million left on his eight-year contract. His trade value is higher than it's been since he came to the Cubs in 2007.

"It's as high as it can be," Dave Sveum said. "Those kind of things are all (dependent) on what you're getting back and all those kind of things. The replacement value of that is very difficult to find."

Still, the Cubs may have to eat some of his contract in a possible trade because he is 37 years old.
