Stephen Strasburg will start for the Nationals on Opening Day against the Cubs. The right-hander said he has no plans to hold back, despite the fact that Washington will likely limit him to 160 innings because of the elbow surgery that delayed his 2011 season. "It's out of my control. It's their decision, and I think that's the way I want it to be, because I want to go out there and pitch and give it everything I have," Strasburg said. "I mean, I know it's going to be a little different, but at the same time, I want to be like one of the other guys. You go out there, you pitch until your stuff's not working anymore, and then they take the ball out of your hands."
