The Cardinals are reportedly downplaying their interest in free-agent pitcher Roy Oswalt. St. Louis already has Kyle Lohse, Chris Carpenter, Jamie Garcia, Jake Westbrook and Kyle McClellan in their rotation, along with a healthy Adam Wainwright.
