Dodgers outfielder Andre Ethier extended his impressive hitting streak to 29 games on Tuesday night. Ethier extended his run with a bloop single just over the glove of leaping Cubs second baseman Darwin Barney with one out in the bottom of the fourth inning. His streak is the longest in the majors since Ryan Zimmerman of the Nationals hit in 30 consecutive games from April 8-May 12, 2009.
