The Rays finished the month of April with a winning record despite starting 0-6 and missing star third baseman Evan Longoria. Tampa Bay manager Joe Maddon is very proud of his team. Longoria is "going to be a big part of what we're going to do in the future and the near future," Maddon said. "But I'm most proud of how our guys have reacted without him." The Rays finished April 15-12, becoming the first team in baseball history to lose its first six games and finish the month with a winning record. Longoria is expected to be in the lineup on Tuesday night.
